About Author
कर्नल विपिन बिहारी श्रीवास्तव का जन्म 1939 में उत्तर प्रदेश के शाहजहाँपुर जिले के शाहवासनगर में हुआ। लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय और रुड़की विश्वविद्यालय से उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त करने के बाद, उन्होंने भारतीय सेना की ईएमई कोर में कर्नल के रूप में सेवा की। 1965 और 1971 के युद्धों में भाग लेने के बाद, सेवा निवृत्ति के पश्चात उन्होंने अपने साहित्यिक जुनून को जीवंत किया। एक कवि, लेखक और संस्मरणकार के रूप में यह उनकी पहली प्रकाशित पुस्तक है। इसमें उनकी पोती विदुषी श्रीवास्तव के अद्भुत चित्रों ने इसे और भी खास बना दिया है।
