About Author

The author, Peerzada Abdul Rashid, from Dardpora village in Kupwara, received early education in a local school situated atop a steep hill. He benefited and was influenced by his father's literary background. Excelling academically, he attended college in Sopore, was a meritorious student, and secured a position in a central government department in Srinagar. Throughout his career, he engaged in extensive reading, took departmental courses, and toured J&K UT. Post-retirement, he pursued writing and published ""Footprints in the Sand"". His latest work, ""Footprints on the Snow of Life"", is anticipated to be well-received, especially by book lovers and the student community.  His various departmental training courses also included one in the prestigious Hindustan Teleprinters, Madras. These courses expanded his knowledge base.
