“101 Great Revolutionary Freedom Fighters of India” by Prof. K.L. Johar is an extraordinary collection that immortalizes the stories of 101 revolutionaries who refused to follow Gandhi’s non-violent path and instead chose the road of armed resistance. Spanning the period from 1857 to 1947, this book captures the courage, sacrifices, and determination of India’s forgotten warriors—men and women who carried pistols, bombs, and revolutionary zeal to challenge the mighty British Empire. While history often glorifies Mahatma Gandhi and his strategy of Satyagraha, this encyclopaedic volume reminds us of the blood, sweat, and lives of revolutionaries like Ram Prasad Bismil, Bhagat Singh, Batukeshwar Dutt, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Udham Singh, and countless unsung heroes who shook the foundations of British rule.
