The book is a good book to study literature for NET examination. But the writer excluded cultural study, criticism & theory which is found in old edition. It is a great lose for student. They have to buy separate books for these.

I got it for 1200/-.... Original is 1600 .. I ordered it on 31 got it on 3rd.... It is bulky, contains 650+ pages .but worth it... This new edition contains some more authors and topics .... It has literature of the world.... British, American, Indian, Canadian,asian, European,etc ..it is in bullet points..so takes less time to read... some Space is blank like if you want to write some extra points you can... the letters are large enough to be read without glasses 🤓 what a relief .... It also has all the movements, reforms that took place , literary devices too ,prize winner books authors., Linguistics ,...... overall a very good book for literature..1 book is enough I guess....
