About Author

Jatinder Singh Haans is one of the most dynamic and respected contemporary Punjabi prose writers. Since his first novel, he has consistently drawn critical acclaim for his innovative themes and emotionally layered characters. With five short story collections and one novel to his credit, Haans has carved a unique literary space in modern Punjabi literature.

He is a recipient of several prestigious literary awards, including the Sujan Singh Prize, Principal Sant Singh Sekhon Prize, Katha Award (Delhi), and the Dhaanva Prize. His writing reflects deep social awareness, psychological insight, and artistic maturity. He currently resides in Village Aloona Tola, Ludhiana (Punjab, India).

Dr. Jasvinder Kaur Bindra is a distinguished scholar, critic, translator, and creative writer with over 80 translated books published by reputed publishers. She has authored seven books of Punjabi literary criticism and contributed to more than 35 edited volumes.
