‘‘मृत्यु अंत नहीं है’’। शरीर का नाश होता है। आत्मा अमर है। जो व्यक्ति इस सत्य को जान लेता है कि आत्मा अमर है। आत्मा पुराने शरीर को त्याग कर नये शरीर को धारण कर लेता है। मूर्ख व्यक्ति जो मृत्यु के भय से आशंकित रहता है। वे लोग जीते तो हैं परन्तु मरे मरे और डरे डरे जीते हैं। शेक्सपीयर ने लिखा है कावर्डस डाई मेनीटाइमस बिफोर देअर डेथ’’ (डरपोक लोगों की मृत्यु जीवन में कई बार होती है।)’’
