अमर सिंह (अमर श्याम) लखनऊ, उत्तर प्रदेश के निवासी हैं और हिंदी, अंग्रेजी तथा उर्दू भाषाओं में निपुण हैं। पेशे से इंजीनियर होने के बावजूद, उनकी आत्मा हमेशा से कविता और शायरी से जुड़ी रही है। कॉलेज के दिनों से लिखने का शौक, समय के साथ एक बड़े संग्रह में बदल गया।
